About the Group
The holding company is engaged in the fields of industry, commerce and technology. The company works dynamically to invest in areas showing growth and in various stages of development, from the initial capital raising stage for companies during their establishment phase, to working with ventures looking for a way into new markets and for management experience. We help with these businesses’ growth and development, with the aim of maximizing their value.
With a track record of 70 years as industrialists, we bring all our experience, contacts and knowhow to every venture in which we are involved. For many years, the main focus of the company was the paper products industry, magnetic cards, and printing. The group recently carried out a successful exit and ceased its activities in the paper and cards industry, while the new business focus is on a range of industries which are discussed in full on group activities page.

A little about the company’s history
The Emka Klein Group was founded in the early 1950s by the pioneering entrepreneur Yaakov Klein, one of Israel’s first industrialists. At the start of his career, he set up the detergent factory in Kibbutz Dalia, and later became a private entrepreneur in the paper products industry.
Yaakov Klein’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to find solutions to the changing needs of the young and growing country, and over time he added new products and factories to the group.
In the early 1970s, the Group was joined by Ido Klein, the second generation of the founders. Together with his father, he continued the group’s momentum of growth and development.
Today the company is led by the third generation, Arik Klein, who is engaged in creating engines of growth for the organization.
Under the leadership of Ido, the company expanded and set up factories in Europe, in addition to initiating joint investment projects with German concerns in the Israel economy: an envelope and a magnetic cards factory.

Group Chairman
Industrialist and entrepreneur with 49 years of experience as an influential manufacturer in Israeli industry. The second generation of industrialists with experience of establishing and managing various large scale industrial ventures. He has set up and managed eight industrial plants in Israel and Europe dealing with paper and plastic products and printing technologies, and collaborated with European industrialists on joint investment projects, including knowledge transfer in Israeli industry. An Israeli patriot who started factories in development towns to strengthen the economy of outlying regions and absorb immigrants, he has also been involved for many years in voluntary public activity in the framework of the Blue & White HQ of the Industrialists’ Federation, and as a speaker to young entrepreneurs and students.
Arik Klein
Group CEO
Industrialist and entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in industry and commerce, the third generation in a family of industrialists who joined the Emka management. Arik led the entry of the Emka Group into new areas, such as home design, with the import of international brands, as well as investments in renewable energy, waste handling, and emergency medicine. He has extensive experience of managing international projects in Europe, the USA and Africa, with expertise in complex financing transactions and working under strict regulations. He has a legal education and is a graduate of a course for directors.
Tal Eisenstein
Group VP of Business Development
Senior manager in industry, with 30 years of experience. He grew up in the Emka Group, performing a range of roles in Israel and Europe: managing the production floor; establishing production sites in Israel and Europe; sales and management; recruiting European partners for joint investment ventures and knowledge transfer; the creation of new engines of growth for the Group; and most recently as CEO of the Cards Division and the Digital Division, which he initiated and led, serving as CEO of these divisions for 14 years. He is educated in the fields of investment management and finance.
Nachshon Aharon
Group CFO
The company’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the budgeting and accounting oversight of all company activities. Qualified accountant with a master’s degree in financial and Business Management from Bar-Ilan University, 28 years of experience with financial reporting , budgeting, accounting, pricing, financial management, taxation, payroll, and senior administrative management, specializing in industrial companies.
